The Western Greece University of Applied Sciences (former TEI of Western Greece) consists of four Schools which offer 4-year courses at equivalent to B.Sc or B. Eng. Degree level.:

The Faculty of Health and Welfare Professions is located in Patras and it consists of the following five departments that are Applied Sciences of Health and/or Social Welfare:
- Department of Social Work
- Department of Nursing
- Department of Speech & Language Therapy
- Department of Physical Therapy (located in Aegio)
- Department of Optics - Optometry (located in Aegio)
The Departments provide state-of-the-art academic programs of study and the completion of a degree by their graduates leads to respective recognized professional rights and professional licensure.
As of the spring semester of the academic year 2015-16, three Departments of the Faculty co-organise and operate a multidisciplinary Postgraduate Program titled “Rehabilitation Sciences” with three directions (corresponding to the departments): Speech & Language Therapy, Nursing and Physical Therapy.
Finally, it is noteworthy that the Departments of the Faculty offer, via their educational and clinical function, corresponding free services to citizens and public institutions.View items
