The Patra’s bus and train station are located at the centre.
One may easily reach the other Campuses by bus from Patra. Especially for Pirgos Campus, Amaliada Campus and Aigio Campus the bus station is located at the centre of Patra, at 2 Zaimi Str. and Othonos Amalias Str., telephone: +30 2610 623886-8.
For Mesolonghi Campus and Antirio Campus the coach station is located at Iroon Politechniou 42 Str, Patra. From Athens airport to reach to Aigio one way to follow the same way as for Patra and get off at Aigio bus station or railway station.
By bus
From Athens airport, take the express bus X93, outside door 5 of the airport. It runs every 35 minutes. The express bus takes you to the intercity coach station called "KTEL Peloponissou", at 100 Kifissou Str., telephone: +30 210 5124910. There are regular coach services every 30 min with a trip time of about 2,5 hours. In Patra, the coach station is located at the centre of Patra, at 2 Zaimi Str. and Othonos Amalias Str., telephone: +30 2610 623886-8
Both railway and bus stations are very close to each other and to the harbor of Patras.
You may reach the other Campuses by bus from Patra. By Plane
The nearest airport to Patra is Araxos airport, see fig.10, 40 minutes drive from Patra but at the moment it serves only charter flights. It's more convenient to land at Athens (El. Venizelos) Airport and then take the suburban train to Kiato and then the bus to Patra.
From Athens, via the national road Athens-Patras. First drive the Attiki highway which drives you straight to Patra, through Korinthos. Notice boards on the way help you reach Patra. When you drive pass the toll gate of Patra, and keep driving on the highway till exit No 3 (Glafkos), where you exit. Then, follow the signs to the city center and at the second round - about, you are at the front south gate of Patra Campus.
The Western Greece University of Applied Sciences (TEI of Western Greece) is connected to the city through two bus transport lines, no.2 and no.7.
Line 2 runs every 10 min, follows Maizonos str, and makes a direct stop to the Institute’s Central Gate that faces Avlonos St. Line 7 runs every 15 minutes, follows Gounari St, and makes a stop at the Koukos junction, in the other entrance of the Patra Campus.
Moreover, you may also visit the other Campuses by bus from Patra. Especially, for Pirgos Campus, Amaliada Campus and Aigio Campus the coach station is located at the centre of Patras, at 2 Zaimi Str. and Othonos Amalias Str., telephone: +30 2610 623886-8.
FROM ITALY
There are frequent daily ferry lines to Patra departing from Brindisi, Bari, Ancona and Venice. From the port which is at the city centre, take blue bus no 2 or 7 to reach the Patra Campus. or take a taxi (costs 4 – 5 €).
